Aviation English (Courses arranged on demand and available to closed group or 1-2-1 learning)
Our Aviation English courses are aimed at aiding pilots and ATCOs – whether professionals or students – to hold or improve on the minimum required Operational Level 4 in the ICAO language proficiency scale. The courses will focus on the technical vocabulary and skills used in radiotelephony based on the guidelines found in ICAO circular 323 and document 9835. The lessons are structured in a way that will allow students to improve their language skills, and will focus on both specific aeronautical terminology and correct pronunciation as used in radiotelephony. Both textbooks and handouts will be used in class and students will have the opportunity to watch documentary videos of real incidents as case studies. This course is particularly beneficial for those requiring preparation for the language proficiency test, such as ELPAC or RELTA. Sample syllabi for our ATC and Pilot courses can be found below.

As cabin crew are in constant contact with passengers on commercial flights, it is vital for crew members to have good communication skills. To fulfil this requirement, we offer an English for Cabin Crew course aimed at helping cabin crew, or trainee cabin crew, to develop their vocabulary to help passengers when necessary. With many airlines requiring that their cabin crew hold an upper intermediate (B2) or advanced (C1) certificate, our course aims to focus on vocabulary, pronunciation, and helping students reach the required level of English. Below is a sample syllabus for our Cabin Crew course.
