Our University Preparation Course offers you language knowledge, critical thinking and academic skills. Students need these skills in order to study in the UK.
This course gives students the knowledge, skills and language ability needed to study at a UK university. Moreover, students will focus on IELTS Exam Preparation. This is due to the fact that majority of the universities in the UK will require an English Exam certificate. Individual courses in each university has specific requirements. That is, courses might require an IELTS score ranging between 4.5 and 8.0. Therefore, it is important to know what course and university you want to go to. Ultimately, you will then, have a goal to work towards.
As a result, the University Preparation course will help prepare you for university. Students focus on a variety of skills they will need. For example, listening to lectures, note-taking and extended academic essay writing skills.
The course aims to study the academic skills, language and functions needed in university. Additionally, students are encouraged to develop critical thinking and autonomous learning techniques. And finally, to prepare students for a degree course environment.
